That's where Wonder Events comes in - we're here to help community groups like yours easily host movie events whenever and wherever you want! Once you’ve decided which movie you’d like to screen, select "Register" on the film page, complete the Typeform and pay the $129 hosting fee. This makes your event “live” and we get to work preparing your personalised marketing resources.

Within 2 business days, you’ll receive personalised marketing resources along with your event set up in our ticketing system. Your hosting fee includes a copy of the movie and this will also be on its way to you.

From here you have everything you need to start sharing your event. Invite everyone along across your networks. We’re here to help at any time throughout the process to make sure you have a great movie event.

We’ll provide you with the licence you need for the public screening of your movie of choice plus marketing assets to support you in holding a great movie event. We’ve created a booklet that is the best of our 19+ years of doing this so you can benefit from the intel we’ve collected along the way. You provide the venue and equipment to make it happen. If you’re unsure about equipment, we can help you with that too. You’ll be amazed what’s possible using low-cost technology to create a fun cinema experience. When you register to hold a Wonder Event, you’ll pay a hosting fee of $129.
Your hosting fee includes the following:
✔ A licence for you to screen the movie in public.
✔ Seamless set-up with a full ticketing solution personalised for your event.
✔ A copy of the film for you to screen at your event.
✔ Personalised marketing assets including flyers, social media and other resources to help promote your event.
✔ Our booklet with 19+ years of experience about how to make your event truly memorable!
✔ You also get our guarantee … that if you don’t feel we did all we could to support and cheer you on for a great event … we’ll provide you with a 100% refund of your hosting fee. No questions asked!
We set up everything you need and personalise it all for your event. Everything will be delivered ready for you to start letting everyone know about your movie event.
You’ll then sell individual tickets to your event. All Wonder Events cost $4.50 per person.
You have three options for the type of event you’d like to run.
1. Everyone pays $4.50 per ticket via the ticketing platform we set up for you.

3. You can hold a FUNDRAISING event. Simply tell us in the registration process how much you would like to raise over and above the $4.50 per ticket rate and we’ll set up your fundraising event. Find out more about holding a FUNDRAISING event HERE.
